Bible Quizzing Team

Jeremy joined the UPCI Youth Ministries in January 2021. Before coming to St. Louis, Jeremy graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and from Belhaven University where he obtained a Master of Science in Leadership. He served as the Youth Pastor at First Pentecostal Church in Pensacola, Florida from 2013-2020 and also on the Florida Youth Ministries team as the Florida Youth President from 2018-2020. He has been involved in youth ministry for over 14 years and was privileged to receive his ministerial ordination in 2017. It is Jeremy’s goal to see young people fulfill their God-given purpose as they further the Kingdom of God!

Jeremy met his lovely wife Kristin in 2005 and married her in 2006. They have two amazing children, Caden and Claire. He loves spending time with his family, enjoying great barbeque, and talking about sports.

Russ Faubert has been involved in Bible Quizzing in many roles, beginning in 1984 as a junior quizzer. He has served as the Experienced Division Quizmaster since 2005 and as the Bible Quizzing Director since Fall of 2017. He oversees the policies and promotion of Bible Quizzing, as well as writing the district and national quiz questions and conducting the annual Bible Quiz Extravaganzas and the North American Bible Quiz Tournament.

Russ met his beautiful wife, Kimberley, when they were Bible Quizzers in Stittsville, Ontario. After several years of quizzing together, the lovebug bit and they married in 1997. They are parents to four wonderful children: Taylor, Ryland, Zach, and Asher.

Tamra Schultz serves as the Bible Quizzing Secretary. Tamra joined UPCI Youth Ministries in 2005. She enjoys working with Bible Quizzing teams and officials. Tamra is a member of New Life St. Louis, Bridgeton, MO, and serves on the youth team for New Life Youth. She enjoys traveling, photography, and reading, and loves being a part of student ministry on the local and national levels.

Taylor has been involved in Bible Quizzing since 2008, beginning as a junior quizzer until her final year in 2018. She’s been the Bible Quizzing Social Media Coordinator since 2020, creating content, capturing tournaments through photography, and promoting BQ with the occasional troll post thrown in the mix.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Urshan University and works in the Office of Communications at UPCI World Headquarters in Weldon Spring, Missouri. She is passionate about giving back to Bible Quizzing by capturing unforgettable moments for the BQ family. She’s often found sipping on her favorite brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso and encouraging everyone to follow @biblequizzing on Instagram.

Eric Forbes has been involved in Bible Quizzing for over a decade. First as a Bible Quizzer for six years before serving as a quiz coach for four years. He now serves as the District Coordinator for Bible Quizzing in the Rocky Mountain District, passionately supporting the next generation of quizzers.

Eric has been married to Elizabeth since November 2023, and they enjoy serving together at Casper Pentecostal Church in Casper, WY, where Eric is the Youth Pastor. In addition to his ministry, Eric works remotely for a regional CPA firm based out of Baton Rouge, LA, balancing his career with his dedication to both his church and district.

In their free time, Eric and Elizabeth love exploring new coffee shops around Casper. Traveling and making memories in new places is one of their favorite ways to spend time together.

Tim and Jennifer Matthews began their Bible Quizzing journey in 1991, initially coaching because they believed it would be a valuable ministry to be a part of. They quickly realized, as they witnessed the positive impact on other children’s lives, that this was a calling for their own family. Their daughter, Lauren, quizzed for 12 years, while their son, Nate, participated for 11 years. Both are now in full-time ministry, and Tim and Jennifer give God the glory for the transformative work of His Word in their lives.

They have previously served as Bible Quizzing coordinators for First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs and Woodlawn Pentecostal Church in Columbia, MS. For the past 11 years, Tim and Jennifer have been the Mississippi District Youth Bible Quizzing Coordinators, continuing their commitment to fostering a love for Scripture in the next generation.

Kellen Constant has been dedicated to Bible Quizzing for many years, starting as a quizzer for 11 years before transitioning into coaching. Known for her enthusiasm, she still finds time to encourage quizzers and crash quiz practices when she can! Now serving as the Editorial Coordinator for Bible Quizzing, Kellen continues to pour her passion into the ministry.

As a teacher at the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center in Arkansas, Kellen can’t engage with students physically, so she partnered with Canine Companions for her facility dog, Halpert. This “adorable co-worker” brings comfort to the classroom. In her free time, Kellen enjoys board games, reading, teaching Halpert new tricks, and being outdoors—hiking, biking, or playing pickleball. She’s also a fan of Daylight Saving Time and the Oxford comma.
